George Lynch is one of the most acclaimed guitarists in the history of rock. For more than four decades, he has paved a unique and highly influential path through his work with Dokken, Lynch Mob, and his remarkably extensive solo catalogue.
Innovation is part of the Lynch legacy. He has unquestionably contributed to the sound of guitars and amplifiers over the 40 years, designing and producing some of the best guitars, amplifiers, and effects units for the instrument. With the Electric Ritual Collection, Lynch is now paving a new road in his legendary history…fine artwork crafted from guitar performance.
This is a first for George Lynch. With the Electric Ritual Collection, the guitarist is one of a select group of pioneering axemen to produce and release fine artwork through the medium of guitar performance. New ground is being broken with each collection.
To execute the Electric Ritual works, Lynch teamed up with art team SceneFour and together they worked to build the visuals seen in this highly limited collection. A new approach to creating fine art, George utilized a custom made glove that transmits light with each note on the fretboard. Once captured during performance, these lights produce an extraordinary visual. With time and a lot of work, these visuals begin to take shape and the results are remarkable.
